Ph.D. Tracks

CSSS sponsors tracks in social statistics offered through the nine programs listed below. In addition, CSSS offers an Individual Concentration in Social Statistics/ for PhD students in social science programs or doing research that is primarily social science, provided that the student’s home program does not have a track.

Statistical Concentration in Anthropology

• Department: Anthropology
• Fulfills Requirements of: Statistics concentration in the graduate programs offered by the Anthropology Department
• Graduate Students Who Have Completed the CSSS Ph.D. Track for Courses in the Statistical Concentration in Anthropology

Individual Concentration in Social Statistics

• Center for Statistics in the Social Sciences
• Open to PhD students in social science programs and PhD students doing research that is primarily social science, provided that the student’s home program does not have a similar CSSS-sponsored offering
• Graduate Students Who Have Completed the CSSS Ph.D. Track for Courses in the Individual Concentration in Social Statistics
